Manuscript document entitled: ‘Memo about the attack on Bergen-op-Zoom, 8 Mar 1814, by Lt Gen Lord Lyndoch, 31st March, 1814’.  Thomas Graham, the 1st Baron Lyndoch, had failed in his attack on the French defences at Bergen op Zoom.
The document considers potential points of attack near a canal and harbour.
Includes a copy of the Orders for the Attack, left, centre, false and right attack and mentions the Watch Word to use to distinguish between the Enemy and own troops, dated 8 Mar 1814.
