Manuscript letter dated ‘No. 31, Coimbra, 2nd November 1811’, from Captain Percival to his Aunt, Mrs Charles Drummond. 4 pages. 

In this letter Percival reports he is feeling more recovered from his illness, but that he is to be examined by a medical board and anticipates being given a month’s medical leave. He also provides a summary of his impressions of Coimbra.
