Description
11th Royal Veteran Battalion button, 1807-1814 Gilt, one-piece, convex, open back. A garter strap inscribed ROYAL VETERAN BATN, topped by a crown, in the centre of the strap the Roman numerals XI around the strap a laurel wreath divided at the top by the crown. No back mark. Collection of buttons associated with British Napoleonic Wars, Veterans, Garrisons, Fencibles and Volunteers. From the collection of Maj H G Parkyn.
