Description
Ms letter from Capt Coughlan to George Cockburn, Bury Street, St James, 2nd June 1806. Cockburn is in Hull. Coughlan still petitioning for a staff positon at home due to being medically unfit to serve abroad. He has a meeting with General Hewitt who is very sympathetic although Lord Clanricarde has recommended he be sent to join a Veteran's Battalion.
