Letter to an unknown recipient, possibly Mary Lloyd, from Leslie Stephen, Junior Carlton Club, Pall Mall, nd.
Date only legible as ‘14 November’.
From a group of 247 letters, postcards, papers and envelopes sent to and from members of the Lloyd family, including Lt Gen Sir Francis Lloyd and Lady Mary Lloyd, 1865-1928.

The letter is addressed to ‘Dear Friend’ and refers to being recently at ‘Leckie’ - this was Mary Lloyd’s childhood home and so she may be the recipient. If so, it would date it to before 1882.
