Description
Shoulder belt plate, Unidentified Irish Militia or Irish Volunteers, 1785 (c). Gilt metal with incised roped border, with engraved design. Between a spray of laurel and shamrock, a female harp surmounted by a monarchial crown. One hook and two stud fittings at the back.
