Waistbelt clasp, officers’, bronzed metal, 2nd Administrative Battalion Forfar Angus Rifle Volunteers, 1864-1882. Locket shaped. Inscription: die-struck, obverse description: within a frosted circlet with raised burnished edges bearing the regimental motto, a crowned lion sejeant affronty upon a crown and holding a sword and sceptre. With belt fittings of Universal scroll and acanthus leaf pattern.
