Soldier’s letter in an envelope written by Cpl Thomas Bowen, HM 14th Light Dragoons, from Camp Mhow to England, 18 Mar 1855. Bowen explains that his regiment has been kept in readiness to go to the Crimea. Associated with Crimean War (1854-1856).
