Letter sent to Helen McKie from Clive Cleave of the Indian Army in Aden, February 1918. Expresses condolences on the death of Douglas McKie and explains that he is not likely to return to England until 1924. From a collection of personal correspondence and notes relating to the death of Douglas Hamlin McKie, Artists' Rifles and Northumberland Fusiliers who was killed at the Battle of Arras, 1917.
