Description
Manuscript letter to Brig Gen Thomas Baker from Maj H M Pratt, on the issuing of various types of saddle, 14 Feb 1880. Copy of order issued at Kabul, on the resumption of horsemen training in Infantry regiments, 17 Feb 1880. From a collection of letters and papers received by Brig Gen Sir Thomas Durand Baker, July 1879 - October 1880. He was Director of Transport during the Kabul-Kandahar, March 1880. Associated with the 2nd Afghan War (1878-1880).
