Description
Manuscript note from Capt O T Webber, Royal Engineers, written from Bloemfontein to his family in Kellyville during the Boer War, 8 Sep 1900. The British forces have the upper hand now but the Boers are still damaging railways and causing isolated trouble, and are also very hard to catch. From a collection of letters and other papers from Capt Oswald Webber, Royal Engineers, to his family from 1895 to 1901. Associated with the Boer War (1899-1902).
