Card-framed group photograph of 30 soldiers, probably cadets at Sandhurst Royal Military College, 1893. They pose for the image in a field with others visible in the background, either sitting or standing in two rows wearing sports kit or football kit. The image may include Harry Whitehill Stevens, and was taken by French photographer Jules David. From a collection of 36 photographs associated with the Stevens family: Lt Col Stephen James Stevens and his sons and grandsons, 1870-1915 (c). Most served in Indian Cavalry regiments, plus also the Royal Artillery and the South Wales Borderers. Images include portraits and group images taken in India, at Sandhurst Royal Military College and the School of Musketry in Hythe.
