Manuscript letter from Richard de Rupe Roche to Mia, written on board the SS Crown Prince, Delagoa Bay, 21 Aug 1900. He says the ship is full of invalids like himself, but very comfortable. He doesn't know whether at Durban they will be sent home or sent to Cape Town instead. From a collection of papers associated with Tpr Richard de Rupe Roche, 50th Imperial Yeomanry, Boer War (1899-1902).
