Warrant, 1665 (c). Addressed to Sir Edward Hopton Kt from John Hill. Orders Hopton to make a return of his soldiers and of such deficiencies of their clothing as there may be and to return the results as soon as possible. From a collection of photographs of 27 documents in Hereford City Library relating to Sir Richard Hopton and his son Sir Edward, knighted in 1604 and 1645 respectively. Associated with the English Civil War (1642-1649).
