Soldier’s letter in an envelope written by Apprentice Marine Engineer Thomas Seadon on board HEIC Receiving Ship Acbar, from Bombay to England, 2 Aug 1857. ‘We do expect every hour that all the english men and boys will be call out for all the musselmen are expected to break out’. Associated with Indian Mutiny (1857-1859).
