Typescript letter to Mr M Johnson, from Capt Phillips, JP, Berkshire TA, 8 Sep 1939. Letter seems to involve some kind of neighbourly dispute over a garden shed, but Capt Phillips says that he is too busy with wartime efforts to go to his solicitor's in London. From a collection of documents and papers relating to the service and career of Lt Col Randolph Warrington Phillips, OBE, from 1915 to World War Two. Associated with World War One (1914-1918) and World War Two (1939-1945).
