Description
Typescript letter sent to Douglas McKie from Capt Edwards, adjutant of the Artists’ Rifles OTC, July 1916. Letter informs McKie that he is to repaid his £8 outfitting allowance. From a collection of personal correspondence and notes of Douglas Hamlin McKie, Artists' Rifles and Northumberland Fusiliers who was killed at the Battle of Arras, 1917. Sent during 1916. Associated with World War One (1914-1918).
