Sent from Lt Gen Sir Thomas Graham at Isla de Leon to Lt Gen Colin Campbell. Lt Governor of Gibraltar.
Letter informs him that the 47th (Lancashire) Regiment of Foot arrived early the day before and thanks him for sending them. Discusses the disposition of the Spanish people and the stirring of disturbance by those with French interests, and that they are finally to be rid of the Duke of Orleans who had been intriguing to form a party that would make him sole regent.
