One of two pages of a copy letter from Maj Gen Sir George Nugent to Col Clinton, relating to the losses of two officers from sunstroke and nearly 40 men from fever brought to the island by French prisoners of war, Jamaica, 8 Oct 1803. From a collection of miscellaneous correspondence relating to the Jamaica, Vol 1, 1803-1805. Associated with Maj Gen Sir George Nugent.
