Description
Letter from Matthew Lock to Sir Thomas Morgan, Governor of Jersey, dated Cockpit, 12 Sept 1667; Lock conveys the King’s permission for Morgan to return to England to settle family affairs, asking that he brings with him an exact account of the profits belonging to the King on Jersey; he also comments on the Peace of Breda with Holland; with paper seal. From a collection of papers of Maj Gen Thomas Morgan, 1655-1677.
