Manuscript letter from Trp Sgt Maj (later RSM and Riding Master) George Cruse, 1st (or Royal) Dragoons, to his wife, from camp near Sevastopol, 1 Nov 1854. Describing the aftermath of the battle, and the continued assault on Sevastopol. Associated with the Battle of Balaklava and the Siege of Sevastopol, Crimean War (1854-1856).
