Photograph of five men and one woman posing for the image in front of the wall of a house, 1949-51 (c). Two of the men appear to be Libyan, the other three may be Grenadier Guards soldiers. The image was probably taken in Libya - Dennis Brotherton was stationed in Libya with the 1st Battalion. The caption says: ‘At the GOC’s Residence - the General Officer Commanding at the time was Maj Gen Sir John Nelson.

From a photograph album of 91 photographs relating to Guardsman Dennis Richard M Brotherton, Grenadier Guards, 1949-52; mainly of his time in Libya, but also some images taken in Malta and the UK.
