Description
Manuscript note from Capt O T Webber, Royal Engineers, written from Bloemfontein to his family in Kellyville during the Boer War, 24 Oct 1900. Capt Webber says that Lord Roberts is preparing to go home but that Kitchener will stay to finish the war off. From a collection of letters and other papers from Capt Oswald Webber, Royal Engineers, to his family from 1895 to 1901. Associated with the Boer War (1899-1902).
