Letter to William Warre from Capt James Robinson, Beresford’s Assistant Military Secretary, Lisbon, 24 Jul 1813. Received after Warre’s return home prior to leaving for the Cape. Reports Molloy’s shameful conduct, the siege of Pamplona and other news from the Peninsula. From a collection of 566 papers of Lt Gen Sir William Warre (1784-1853) relating to his military career, 1807-1851. Associated with Siege of Pamplona (1813), Peninsular War (1808-1814).
