Sent from [signature illegible] at Cholmondley House to Lt Col Guy Campbell, 6 (1st Warwickshire) Regiment of Foot.
Letter is one of condolence on the death of his father, Lt Gen Colin Campbell, and informs him he has copied his letter announcing his father’s death and sent it to Lord Palmerston and Lord Liverpool. Also at note of thanks to his brother William Campbell over the buying of a Spanish horse or mule.
