Photograph of Quarter Master's Staff, 1946. Group taken on departure of the Quartermaster, Lt Col H R Barton MBE MC on promotion to full Colonel and posting to command a Sub-Area in Eastern Command. Capt J Parkes (2nd Quarter Master) is on his right. Relating to the regimental centre, associated with the 13th Frontier Force Rifles. From a photograph album of 328 photographs, 1922-1974 (c). The album was originally compiled by Capt Hubert Gervais Lennox Brain, 6th Royal Bn, 13th Frontier Force Rifles, Instructor of the Royal Military College, Sandhurst, 1938. Presented by the Officers of the 13th Frontier Force Rifles, to The Royal Military College, Sandhurst, to give Cadets who wished to join the Indian Army an idea of life in the regiment.
