Lettercard written by Hugh Hughes to his parents in London, 27 Apr 1900. Sent from Cape Town expressing his wish to leave Cape Town but worries that they'll never get sent anywhere they are needed. The ship has returned from Port Elizabeth so they have been busy unpacking the stores. One of twenty four lettercards sent by Hugh Hughes, a voluntary medical orderly in the Imperial Yeomanry to his parents in London,1900 (c). Associated with the Boer War (1899-1902).
