Allied Victory Medal 1914-19, with oak leaf for mentioned in dispatches. Awarded to Maj (later Lt-Col) Francis Edward William Baldwin, Indian Army. Baldwin transferred to the Indian Army from The Buffs (East Kent Regiment) on 9 Jul 1904 and is listed as the Lieutenant Colonel, Indian Army, in the Half Yearly Army List 1929. From the collection of the former Buffs Regimental Museum. Associated with World War One, (1914-1918).
