Diary, 1891.
For much of 1891 Lt Col J K Watson and his battalion were stationed in Mandalay. In March and April- May he went on brief expeditions up country, and on a major one at the end of the year. There are no direct references to the fighting in Manipur and the entries describe parades, inspections and sports events. At the beginning of the diary are lists of letters sent and received between January and April.
