Pair of rank badge, embroidered, 1944 (c). Associated with Corps of Royal Engineers. A white, buff and khaki monarchial crown on a dark blue ground sewn onto a khaki drill slip-on strap which also bears sewn on to the shoulder end, a cream colured linen strip with the black embroidered initials, 'R.E.' From a collection of thirteen badges worn or owned by D P Bennet, Royal Engineers and Royal Bombay Sappers and Miners, 1942-1947.
