Description
Tail ornament, 21st Regiment of Madras Native Infantry, worn by Maj Gen W Douglas, 1850 (c). Gold wire embroidery. Within a laurel wreath, a circlet within which is the numeral, '21', the whole surmounted by a red velvet and gold wire monarchial crown, all upon a blue cloth ground.
