Glengarry, other ranks’, Calcutta Scottish Volunteers, worn by Pte S Halstead, 1916 (c). Blue knitted woollen fabric crown and sides. In centre of crown a green woollen torie. Brow band of green and white diced knitted woollen fabric. Centre back vent 1 1/2 inches in height edged with 3/8 inch wide black corded silk ribbon. Attached to back vent two streamers of black corded silk ribbon each approx. 7 1/2 inches by 1 1/4 inches. Lining of black cotton drill.
