Description
Officer’s mess vest, 2nd Bn 13th Frontier Force Regiment, used by Capt R Elsmie, 1936 (c). Scarlet wool cloth with red silk back and scarlet upright closed collar. Black Russia pattern braid. Body lined with white cotton, collar lined with black silk bearing five brass studs and black silk stock patch. Eleven brass hook and eye fastenings down centre front, two at collar.
