Description
Waistbelt, officers’, 1st Volunteer Bn Hampshire Regiment, 1890 (c) White enamelled leather with white metal sling fittings and sword hook. White metal and gilt waistbelt clasp with relief design of gilt laurel wreath, tiger passant gardant and red enamelled rose and die struck inscription of ‘HAMPSHIRE IST VOLR BATTN’. The headquarters of the 1st Volunteer Battalion were in Winchester.
