Shooting medal awarded to Lt R B Walker, Assam Valley Mounted Rifles, 1894-1895. White metal suspended by a fixed loop through which passes a loose swivelling ring attached to a curved white metal suspender. Ribbon of Garter blue corded silk. With individual bar and brooch fitting. Obverse: Within a raised edge and an inner beaded border, a low relief design of a five-pointed star, the uppermost point of which is displaced by a monarchial crown of Tudor type, all superimposed on a laurel wreath. Superimposed upon the star an eight sided figure enclosing a relief inscription. Reverse: Within a raised edge and an inner beaded border, a laurel wreath.
