Shooting medal awarded to Capt D Taylor, Burlington Volunteers, 1800. Silver, the rim, border and loops decorated with flowers in high relief, with fixed loop and loose loop suspender. Obverse: Centrally, an oval cartouche surmounted by a monarchial crown and draped with beribboned bunches of flowers. From behind the lower portion of the cartouche issues a trophy of arms comprising colours, muskets, a sword and drum. Reverse: Inscription centrally, within an oval border of laurel leaves.
