Description
Five in-letters and copies of two out-letters, 24 May-2 Sep 1854. Consisting of correspondence between FM Lord Fitzroy Somerset, 1st Baron Raglan, Commander in Chief, and Lord Westmorland, the British Ambassador in Vienna. They deal mainly with the Austrian troops and include Westmorland's memorandum on conflict between Austria and Russia, 3 Mar 1854. Associated with the Crimean War (1854-1856).
