Manuscript 'Journal of a Tour in Devonshire', undertaken by Col Clement Alexander Edwards and his sister, 14 May - 9 Jun 1846. The account is written on 56 folios of note-paper, and describes the tour which began and ended at Weston Super Mare, the outward journey being along the North Devon coast, and the return along the southern coast. The account describes the scenery, churches and other buildings of interest that they saw in the course of their travels.
