Official first day cover issued in 1965 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Anzac Day, 1915, with one brown 4d and one green 5d commemorative postage stamp. Sent to Auckland, New Zealand, with ‘AUCKLAND NZ FIRST DAY OF ISSUE 14 APRIL 1965’ circular date stamp. From a collection of 31 envelopes and photographic postcards, 1915-1965. All used by Australian and New Zealand forces. Associated with World War One, Gallipoli (1915-1916).
