Referring to a talk he had had with Brig Gen Sir James Edward Edmonds and Lt Col Edward Yorke Daniel.
He understands that Ellison accepts that his book will be too long but he will not allow it to be edited so that the substance of chapter five was removed.
He suggests a compromise and hopes that Ellison will agree to it.
