Receipted invoice for work box and glass for it, 1813-1814. Purchased by William Warre from E Elvey, New Bond Street, Jun and Dec 1813, paid for 14 Jan 1814. Received after Warre’s return home prior to leaving for the Cape. From a collection of 566 papers of Lt Gen Sir William Warre (1784-1853) relating to his military career, 1807-1851. Associated with Peninsular War (1808-1814).
