Piper's plaid brooch, 1900 (c). Mounted over the voided centre of a circular white metal plate with an inner engraved scroll border, a white metal thistle wreath in relief. Within the wreath, the Star of the Order of the Thistle, the thistle flower upon a green enamelled ground. Maker's name impressed into the reverse, 'WM Anderson & Sons Military Outfitters Edinburgh & Glasgow'. With a brooch fastening. From a collection of 41 items, associated with Royal Scots (Lothian Regiment).
