Manuscript letter from W Dickinson [?] in London to William Lee, later Lieutenant Colonel in Strasbourg, 4 Apr 1787. The letter tells him that he has paid the £100 into Lee's account as required, despite being questioned by the bank. Letter also tells him that the letter he sent may have been opened and read by someone else. From a collection of 112 letters and envelopes addressed to Lt Col William Lee, 5th Baronet, 16th (or The Queen’s) Regiment of (Light) Dragoons, 1749-1810. Also includes photocopies of other letters from the same correspondence.
