Sent from A Campbell at Stirling to John Campbell, Major of the 5th Bn Argyllshire Volunteers at Callendar.
John Campbell was the elder brother of Lt Gen Colin Campbell, Lt Governor of Gibraltar, 1754-1814.
Letter informs him he has enclosed the return of the two regiments, presumably the Argyllshire Volunteers, before their march and that he has the instructions from Mr Bafell [?] for Lord Breadlebane’s Corps.
