Photograph: Gravestone no. 7 A close up shot of a gravestone, the inscription reads: Sacred to the memory of Lt Col C J Woodford 2nd Bn Rifle Brigade killed in action before Cawnpore 28 Nov 1857. This stone was erected to his memory by his brother officers. Associated with Indian Mutiny (1857-1859). From an album of 37 photographs taken by a Cawnpore photographer, 1947.
