Photograph: Not a V2. It’s an 11,000 volt/ mercury arc rectifier bulb. From a collection of 60 photographs that belonged to Bill Reis and relating to Radio South East Command - SEAC, 1944 (c). Reis was a Broadcast Engineer stationed in Kandy, Sri Lanka. Associated with World War Two, Far East (1941-1945).
