Description
Manuscript letter from Capt O T Webber, Royal Engineers, written from Bloemfontein to his family in Kellyville, during the Boer War, 30 Dec 1900. Capt Webber feels many of the Boer soldiers want to surrender but the rumour that de Wet was going to allow his soldiers to leave if they wanted to was not true. From a collection of letters and other papers from Capt Oswald Webber, Royal Engineers, to his family from 1895 to 1901. Associated with the Boer War (1899-1902).
