Photograph: Gravestone no. 6 A close up shot of a gravestone, the inscription reads: "Sacred to the memory of Howard Douglas Campbell Captain in the 78th Highlanders who died at Cawnpore of cholera on the 16th August 1857 deeply regretted by his brother officers who have erected this tablet." Associated with Indian Mutiny (1857-1859). From an album of 37 photographs taken by a Cawnpore photographer, 1947.
