Manuscript letter from Lord Ross and Ogilvie, to Cosmo Falconer Esq., 28 Jul 1800. Regards a sum of £400 for the purchase of a commission for Lt Neil Campbell. From a collection of 104 manuscript and typescript letters mostly written by military figures, covering a variety of topics, many of the letters being brief and trivial, 1773-1934.
