Letter from 23207 L/Cpl Frank Bentley, 2nd Bn Grenadier Guards, to his brother Cpl Arthur Bentley, Royal Army Medical Corps; written with the British Expeditionary Force, in France, 5 Oct 1916; Frank reports that his wounds are healed and that he hopes to get some home leave soon; Frank Bentley was killed in action at Gauche Wood, near Gouzeaucourt, 1 Dec 1917; his name appears on the Cambrai Memorial, Louveral.
